Honest ("the app") is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and do not sell your information to third parties.
The app collects the following data to provide its service:
All personal data including your conversations, nutrition logs, name, and goals are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data is not uploaded to any server.
Your meal descriptions are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses and calculate nutrition information. This data is processed according to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not store your conversations on our servers.
Subscription purchases are managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
The app is rated 16+ and is not intended for use by children under 16 years of age.
